The latest version of the DCS Consumer Loader software used to program the DCS system components (Remote, TIU), Load and Backup sound files (in locomotives) and backup and restore the DCS Remote handheld has been released. DCS users will find the loader version 2.01 available for a FREE download by visiting www.protosound2.com

Among the most recent changes to the loader, the following represent the most significant enhancements from Version 2.00.

  • Fixes issue with Rev H TIU’s whereby the Loader would hang up attempting to load TIU code
  • Fail indication on V2.00 Loader would show “Attempting to Connect to TIU on Com X” then ask user to Cycle Power on TIU. This process would repeat indefinitely

    NOTE: DCS Loader Version 2.00 MUST be uninstalled prior to installing Version 2.01.
